G’day friends. I have exciting news to share with you!
As you are probably aware I have enormous passion for the natural world, especially watching and photographing wildlife. I have worked as a wildlife biologist for all of my professional life (over 35 years), and love passing on my passion to people from all walks of life. For the past 10 years, I have worked as an expedition guide and naturalist on small ship expeditions in the Southern Hemisphere, primarily with Lindblad Expeditions. This year I have already been to New Zealand, Melanesia, across the Atlantic Ocean from South America to Africa, and up the east coast of Africa. I have now worked as an expedition guide in every continent on the planet!
However, I start a new and adventurous phase of my career in 2025. I am thrilled to be using the experience and knowledge I have gained through my training and closer to home. While I will be taking some tours in Tasmania and the Kimberley, the really exciting news is that I have been asked to lead African wildlife safaris!
If you have ever dreamt of taking an African safari to witness and photograph the riches of African wildlife, then come and join me on a 11-day journey in July (15th – 25th), 2025 through Northern Tanzania, exploring the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. While there are no guarantees, the timing of this safari has been carefully chosen to coincide with the drama of the great migration, when up to half a million wildebeest cross the Mara River into Tanzania. Any safari in the Serengeti is like having a front row seat in a David Attenborough wildlife documentary.
The safari is under the banner of leading African wildlife safari company World Wildlife Journeys (https://www.worldwildlifejourneys.com). With my background, I am excited to be teamed up with such a reputable nature-focused company. We will be travelling with an expert English-speaking local guide, staying at high quality accommodation, while maximising our time on safari watching East Africa’s immense biodiversity at close range. I have attached the itinerary and all details including timing, cost and accommodation.
There are limited spaces. So, my dear friends, grab a few companions and come and join me on this once-in-a lifetime wildlife spectacle. I can guarantee we will have a wonderful time together witnessing first-hand one of the world’s greatest and most dramatic wildlife experiences.
P.S. It would be greatly appreciated if you shared my safari offer with your networks ????
